Why switch from Unscreen?
It's still alive
Unscreen stopped processing uploads in December 2025. bgmatte works today, in your browser, no account needed.
GIF too
Unscreen's most-missed feature was GIF background removal. Our tool processes GIFs frame by frame — and outputs transparent GIFs.
Never watermarked
Unscreen's free tier was a 5-second watermarked preview. Our free tier is unlimited and watermark-free.
