Why switch from remove.bg?
1. Free means free
No credit counting, no low-res previews. Process as many product photos or portraits as you want, all at original resolution.
2. Private by default
The AI model runs in your browser via WebGPU. Your images are never uploaded — handy for unreleased products or personal photos.
3. Video too
remove.bg only does images. bgmatte also removes video backgrounds — free in-browser, or HD cloud billed per credit.
